AUR31220 - CERTIFICATE III IN MOBILE PLANT TECHNOLOGY (MOBILE PLANT EQUIPMENT) – FAST-TRACKED

Who’s it for?

This course is designed for those wanting to cross-skill into Mobile Plant Technology and pursue a career as a dual-trade tradesperson as a plant mechanic, heavy-duty diesel fitter, or mobile plant technician.

This course is only available to participants with secure employment in the industry.

Entry Requirements

Participants must have previously completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Participants must also have Part-Time or Full-Time employment in the industry with employer endorsement.

Delivery Options, Duration, and Investment:

There are currently 2 delivery options available for participants:

Workplace Based: tasks, supported by workplace visits by our expert trainers. Participants should be allocated at least 3 hours This includes self-paced theory (completed online) and the completion of workplace per week of paid time during working hours to complete the self-paced theory and submission of workplace tasks.

Blended Delivery: of workplace tasks supported by our expert trainers. This includes a combination of scheduled face to face training sessions and completion

  • 10-week Intensive Block Release.  4 days per week (Monday – Thursday) for 10 weeks.
  • Monthly Block Release. 1 week per month (Monday – Thursday) for 10 months.

The maximum duration of the course is 48 months.

This course is available under an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement, eligible participants will have the course fee subsidised by the NSW Government under the Smart and Skilled Initiative.
