FLUID POWER SHORT COURSE

Who’s it for?

The Fluid Power Short Course is designed for participants who are familiar with and motivated to extend their skills and knowledge on fluid power systems.

The course covers the topics below which are reinforced with practical exercises.

On successful completion participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

MEM18018 Maintain Pneumatic system components (Previously Pneumatics 1)
MEM18019 Maintain Pneumatic systems (Previously Pneumatics 2)
MEM18020 Maintain Hydraulic Systems components (Previously Hydraulics 1)
MEM18021 Maintain Hydraulic System (Previously Hydraulics 2)

Entry Requirements

Participants must be a qualified tradesperson and hold, or be willing to undertake a recognition process, for 12 prerequisite units of competency.

MEM11011 Undertake manual handling

MEM12023 Perform engineering measurements

MEM12024 Perform computations

MEM13015 Work safely and effectively in manufacturing and engineering

MEM14006 Plan work activities

MEM16006 Organise and communicate information

MEM18001 Use hand tools

MEM18002 Use power tools/handheld operations

MEM18003 Use tools for precision work

MEM18006Repair and fit engineering components

MEM18055 Dismantle, replace and assemble

* Participants who do not meet the entry requirements can still undertake the course. On successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Delivery Options, Duration, and Investment:

Blended:  Duration: 3-6 Months, which includes approximately 48 hours of self-paced theory + 6 days of practical workshops.

Face to Face: Duration: 8 days

Investment: $4,650.00 | 26 Weekly installments of $178.85

Onsite Face to Face: Duration: 8 days Investment: Price on Application

The maximum duration of the course is 12 months.
