Over the past six months, APT has been conducting onsite training at Oaky Creek Coal in central Queensland, with the final session delivered last week.
The training has resulted in over 30 mechanical tradesmen successfully completing our 6 day Fluid Power course with each student achieving four nationally recognised competencies – maintain hydraulic & pneumatic systems and components. These four modules form part of the Certificate IV Engineering MEM40105.
Training was completed in two day sessions with each work crew, and was rostered to take advantage of the site rostered training days, which minimised crew downtime and disruption to their production cycles. Delivery times and days were varied, to suit each individual work crew.
All training was delivered in the site training room, with the APT mobile practical workshop was set-up in the site workshop to deliver all practical sessions for the course, with the APT trainers completing the required set up work and pack up on completion of the day’s training.
It is clear that you and your workforce can benefit from an APT Training course – either on your site or ours, please contact us to discuss your individual needs, you don’t have anything to lose. Get in quick before we head back to Toronto.
