APT Training has recently combined with Bosch Rexroth to deliver custom hydraulic training courses to Speno Rail Maintenance staff at the Sydney office of Bosch Rexroth.

Speno Rail Maintenance design and build rail grinding machines and mini grinders to service and maintain train rails across Australia as well as International customers.

APT worked in conjunction with Bosch Rexroth, who provided technical expertise, to design and deliver a training course that was centred around the hydraulic schematics that were supplied by Speno.  This meant that the students were trained on components and principles that are used in their manufactured machines, so all training delivered was relevant to the students, and can be used/applied in their current work environment.

The training was delivered over 3 days, with students including machine supervisors, mechanical tradesmen, electrical tradesmen and non-mechanical tradesmen.  Operational principles of components was delivered, this was then followed by detailed work on the system schematics so that the students could learn how and why their machines operate.
